			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A few weeks before you are due, it’s time not only to start getting all  the <a title="newborn essentials" href="http://checklistforbaby.com/list-essentials-baby/" target="_self">newborn essentials</a> described in our checklist, but also to gather all the items you&#8217;ll need during labour and for after your little one(s) is(are) born. And when preparing the hospital bag, it’s generally a good idea to have two bags packed &#8211; one for you and another for the baby make things easier to find once in the hospital &#8211; by the time you are about 36 weeks pregnant. Although you might not need all that is in this hospital bag &#8211; especially if you will only stay a day or two in the hospital, you might as well be 100% prepared for this life-changing experience. <p>• T-Shirt / nightwear<br />
• Socks<br />
• Slippers<br />
• 2 x cotton flannel<br />
• Hairbands or clips<br />
• Lip balm<br />
• Multi-purpose pillow<br />
• Camera and mobile<br />
• Maternity notes and birth plan</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nice to have</span>: TENS machine, massage oil, facial spray, magazines, snacks, bottled water, whatever will help you relax!</p>
<p><strong>For you (post delivery)</strong><br />
• 1 x Dressing gown<br />
• 1 x Nursing nightgown (with front opening for breast feeding)<br />
• 1 pack of disposable knickers<br />
• 1 pack of sanitary pads<br />
• 2 x Nursing / sleeping bra<br />
• 1 pack of breast pads<br />
• Nipple cream<br />
• Toiletries<br />
• Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush<br />
• Make-up kit<br />
• Towel<br />
• Going home outfit and jacket (still maternity clothes I am afraid)</p>
